Mater Domini Mask is an artisan laboratory that makes quality and specialization the strengths for the production of the famous Venetian paper mache masks.
It was born in 1996 from the creativity and passion of the Franceschini sisters.

Mater Domini is located in the heart of Venice in the Sestiere di Santa Croce, in Campo Santa Maria Mater Domini, close to the Cà Pesaro modern art museum, a short distance from the famous Rialto Bridge.

The campo is able to offer a phenomenal glimpse of “Venice out of its postcards”: a campo with a bridge under which two gondoliers stand; all framed by some of the oldest palaces in Venice that house, rare nowadays, only artisan stores.”
