If London were like Venice – If London were like Venice. In this 1899 story the author, Somers John Summers (ca. 1874 – 1905), imagines London suddenly left without streets but with canals, gondolas and gondoliers speaking Venetian.
The book is in two languages with English-Italian facing text and enriched with reproductions of the original photo-collages that appeared in the first edition.
