Buying Girani Coffee is a unique experience
The beans come mainly from selected plantations in Central America, from “healthy” soils not chemically contaminated, often volcanic and offshore.
The coffee is roasted by hand, at a lower temperature than other roasts. The roasting is done, according to different times and ways for each variety of coffee, with a “Vittoria”, a rare machine of the second postwar period, considered one of the best in the industry. This allows to exalt floral and fruity aromas while limiting acidity as much as possible.
The roasting company was founded in 1928 by Giuseppe Girani, at that time trainer of Venezia FC. The goodness of Girani coffee is so much that, already at that time, it is present in all luxury hotels and cafeterias,
You can’t help but taste the blends, recipes in which the powders of the different coffee varieties are combined, the pride of the Girani roasting company. Among these, the “Fassina” is composed of 9 varieties of fine Arabica and owes its name to the historic manager of a bar in Calle Frezzeria, Albano Fassina.
The man had, in fact, asked Girani to create a custom blend, of which the secret recipe is still kept, which required months and months of tests. It was a success, so much so that the customers themselves gave it the name “Miscela Fassina”.
